Too. Much. Fun!

My face on Jax This past weekend was the Spring 2015 Saint Paul Art Crawl and it was a blast! I was showing my photos and Laura had her paintings and digital art on display in my Lowertown writing studio. We had dozens of friends stop by to see us and we got to spend the whole weekend hanging out with our studio neighbors and exceptional oil painters, Tom McGregor and Jerry Jo Brandt. Our studios are in the Northwestern building, but the image at left was taken outside the Jax building, where my face was pasted up the weekend before the Crawl as part of the InsideOutLowertown project.

Putting together an art show the week after returning from vacation (while also copyediting my entire manuscript) was a tall order, but the weekend was so much fun, and a huge success! Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by to say hi, and especially to those who bought art!
