In My RSS Feed: Zen Habits

It’s a busy week for me – Laura and I closed on a new home and have started minor improvements to it ahead of moving in; I start working with a new client today and have resumed work with a few former clients; and I’ve been doing my usual freelance writing work, so the blog has been a tad sparse lately. Since I don’t anticipate my schedule lightening up anytime soon, I thought I’d do a series of blog posts that will introduce you to a few of my favorite sites on the Web.

Today, I wanted to tell you about my absolute favorite blog site and a big inspiration for Well Curated Life, Zen Habits, written by Leo Babauta. Leo is a writer, public speaker and father of 6 who really tries to practice the simple lifestyle he preaches. He and I have a few things in common: he eats a vegan diet, has run several marathons, and he really knows what it means to be unattached to things – when he and his family moved from Guam to California, they each brought only one backpack full of possessions to their new home.

Here’s a link to one of his latest blog posts, about Instant Gratification. It will give you an idea of what he’s about and his writing style.  I encourage you to click around on his site and check out his stuff.

Friday I’ll be writing a fitness post as usual, but next week I’ll share a few more of my favorite blogs and Web sites with you.  Enjoy!
